Soccer Recap: Western Hills Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Western Hills was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eastern Hills Highlanders by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Samantha J, who's now up to 19 this season.

Western Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Eastern Hills, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Western Hills didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 loss against Benbrook on the 28th. As for Eastern Hills, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Young Women's Leadership Academy on the 28th.
