Loudoun Valley got themselves on the board against Rock Ridge on Thursday, but Rock Ridge never followed suit. They blew past the Phoenix 9-0. Considering the Vikings have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Loudoun Valley and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Rock Ridge, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Loudoun Valley beat the Phoenix by a score of 38-0 later that day.
