Recap: Burton Adventist Academy Angels vs. North Tampa Christian Academy Titans
After flying high against the Cristo Rey Fort Worth Lions last Thursday, the Burton Adventist Academy Angels came back down to earth. Burton Adventist Academy took a serious blow against North Tampa Christian Academy on Wednesday, falling 43-15. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Burton Adventist Academy has scored all season.
North Tampa Christian Academy was led to victory by Arianna Murray and Aliyah Harris-Green. Murray scored 15 points along with six steals, while Harris-Green scored 13 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Harris-Green is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cali Midyett, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Burton Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Takoma Academy the next time they take the court. North Tampa Christian Academy will head out to face Takoma Academy at 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, while Burton Adventist Academy will head out to face them at 5:50 p.m. on Thursday.
