Basketball Recap: Stow-Munroe Falls Comes Up Short

Stow-Munroe Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 54-42 to the Magnificat Blue Streaks. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Blue Streaks are ranked fourth).

Stow-Munroe Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Magnificat, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Stow-Munroe Falls has already played their next game (against Cuyahoga Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Magnificat will be playing in front of their home fans against Western Reserve Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Western Reserve Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Magnificat surely won't give up without a fight.
