Soccer Game Preview: Sutter vs. Dixon + Official Tickets

Sutter is 0-4 against Dixon since December of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Huskies will host the Rams at 3:00 p.m. Sutter has given up an average of 4.9 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sutter lost 5-1 to Casa Roble on Monday.

Meanwhile, Dixon came tearing into Monday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.6 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Knights. Given Dixon's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while Rio Linda are ranked 791st) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manuel Rico and Nathan Bolanos scored both of Dixon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Sutter's loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Dixon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Sutter might still be hurting after the 7-0 defeat they got from Dixon in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
