Soccer Recap: Stone Mountain Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Zion, Stone Mountain was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Riverdale Raiders.

Stone Mountain's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Riverdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stone Mountain will head out to square off against M.L. King at 5:30 p.m. on April 2. As for Riverdale, they will venture away from home to take on Carver at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale is facing Carver at the right time seeing as Carver is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
