Football Recap: Draughn Takes a Loss

Draughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Hibriten Panthers, falling 56-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Draughn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hibriten, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Draughn is set to challenge their familiar foe West Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hibriten will face off against rival R-S Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Elan Lipford and Rylan Holley.
