Basketball Recap: Emontae Gourdine Key Part of a Team Effort in Lions Win

M.L. King won the last time they faced Redan and things went their way on Saturday too. The M.L. King Lions walked away with a 76-63 win over the Redan Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

M.L. King's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emontae Gourdine, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calvin Everhart Iii, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists.

M.L. King was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
