Volleyball Recap: Granada Hills Charter Takes a Loss

Granada Hills Charter managed to slip by Taft the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Highlanders lost 3-0 to the Toreadors on Monday. The Highlanders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Granada Hills Charter's loss dropped their record down to 21-16. As for Taft, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Granada Hills Charter is set to take on their familiar foe Birmingham at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Taft will face off against rival El Camino Real at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
