Basketball Recap: Zach Pope Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

Southside Christian came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 27-20 win over the Trinity Christian Tigers on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southside Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zach Pope, who posted six points along with 11 boards and three blocks. Pope has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Driver, who had eight points.

Southside Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Southside Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 42-19 defeat against Gramercy Christian on the 6th. As for Trinity Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 25-18 loss against Friendship Christian on the 6th.
