Soccer Recap: Radford Extends Winning Streak to Four

Radford barely beat Alleghany the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats blew past the Cougars 6-1 on Monday. The result was nothing new for Radford, who have now won five contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Alleghany with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tommaso Brianzi (2), Luciano Pugliese (2), Hutson Walsh, and Robert Fuksz.

The win (which was Radford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four matches. As for Alleghany, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coincidentally, Radford and Alleghany will both be playing Glenvar the next time they take the pitch. The Bobcats will head out to face the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
