Kinkaid had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cooper Dragons an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Falcons have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kinkaid pushed their record up to 24-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cooper, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16-2.

Looking ahead, Kinkaid will be playing in front of their home fans against Bellaire at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
