Basketball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork lost against Dayton back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Fork Gators fell 44-36 to the Dayton Broncos. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dayton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Keeannie Hill led the charge by putting up nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Hill a new career-high in boards. Bryanna Boston was another key player, scoring 15 points and eight rebounds.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Dayton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-18.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Porter the next time they take the court. West Fork will host Porter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Dayton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st.
