Recap: Northeast Raiders vs. Jordan Red Jackets
The Northeast Raiders lost against the Jordan Red Jackets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Northeast took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jordan. Northeast has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Northeast saw an underclassman step up: Jada Smith dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 34.8% of Northeast's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Indiasia Bell, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Northeast has not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.
Northeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-27 victory vs. Rutland on the 9th. Jordan has also already played their next match, a 48-21 win against Kendrick on the 9th.
