Basketball Recap: Sperry Comes Up Short

Sperry lost against Kiefer back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sperry Pirates had to suffer through a 68-26 loss at the hands of the Kiefer Trojans. The Pirates were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-11.

Sperry dropped their record down to 1-15 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kiefer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sperry will face off against Cleveland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kiefer has already played their next game (against Bristow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
