Volleyball Recap: Seventy-First Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Seventy-First was the 3-0 winner over E.E. Smith when they last played one another back in August of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell just short of the Golden Bulls by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Seventy-First dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for E.E. Smith, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Seventy-First will challenge rival Westover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, E.E. Smith is set to square off against their familiar foe Douglas Byrd at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
