Volleyball Recap: Salem Quakers vs. Edgewood Warriors
If Salem was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Orange on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Quakers fell 3-1 to the Edgewood Warriors on Monday.
While Salem ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.
Abigail Knickerbocker paced Salem's offense, picking up 16 kills. Knickerbocker got some help from Macey Troy and her 27 assists.
Salem dropped their record down to 8-16 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Edgewood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-4.
