Basketball Recap: Brayden Oconnor's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rochester over Tenino

Rochester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Tenino Beavers, falling 53-32. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-43 back in January.

Rochester lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brayden Oconnor, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Emmitt Mancuso, who put up nine points.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Tenino, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Rochester will head out on the road to take on Hoquiam at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Tenino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
