Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Griswold + How To Watch

Griswold entered their tilt with Fitch on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 last Wednesday.

Griswold had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 26-24, 25-18, 25-20.

Griswold can attribute much of their success to Carly Rubino, who had 15 digs.

Griswold was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 17 consecutive matches.

Griswold's record is now 13-6. As for Fitch, they dropped their record down to 1-12 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Griswold will welcome Lyman Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fitch, they will venture away from home to challenge Branford at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
