South Warren waltzed into their matchup on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Clinton County Bulldogs with a sharp 11-0 win. 11 seems to be a good number for the Spartans as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.
Courtney Norwood looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 18 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, South Warren let Hadley Borders and Kaylee Wilson run wild. Borders got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Wilson went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
