Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pequot Lakes

Pequot Lakes waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Foley Falcons as they made off with a 47-26 victory. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Pequot Lakes is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for Foley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Pequot Lakes will be playing in front of their home fans against Park Rapids at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Park Rapids knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Pequot Lakes likes a good challenge. As for Foley, they will head out to face off against Annandale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
