Soccer Recap: Grassfield Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grassfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Deep Run Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Grassfield's goal came courtesy of Jeremy Holston, which was the first he's scored this season.

Grassfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-4. As for Deep Run, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5-5.

As of now, neither Grassfield nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
