Volleyball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Triumphs

Saxony Lutheran lost to Father McGivney Catholic back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Crusaders came out on top against the Griffins by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Jonathan Palmer paced Saxony Lutheran's offense, picking up 13 kills. Palmer got some help from Samuel Petzoldt and his 12 assists. Petzoldt was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Saxony Lutheran has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Father McGivney Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Saxony Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Collinsville on the 28th. As for Father McGivney Catholic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against York on the 28th.
