Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Unity Christian

After losing to Coldwater the last time they met, Unity Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cardinals 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Unity Christian who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 18-25, 15-12.

Unity Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11-5. As for Coldwater, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14-4.

Looking ahead, Unity Christian will head out to challenge Spring Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coldwater, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lakewood on the 11th.
