Huntingtown had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the McDonogh Eagles 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hurricanes have posted since May 3, 2024.

Huntingtown is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season.
