Cadee Ross was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ashlyn Robinson, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with seven stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those seven stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alayja Burnett, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Fort Wayne North Side was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Snider was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-4 to Garrett.

Fort Wayne Snider's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Fort Wayne North Side, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.
