Basketball Game Preview: Lindenwold Lions vs. Collingswood Panthers

Lindenwold is 2-7 against Collingswood since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lindenwold Lions will take on the Collingswood Panthers in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m.

Lindenwold is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Haddon Township on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Lindenwold took a blow against Haddon Township, falling 42-9. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-4.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Collingswood duked it out withMedford Tech on Monday. Everything went Collingswood's way against Medford Tech as Collingswood made off with a 43-21 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Lindenwold was able to grind out a solid win over Collingswood in their previous matchup back in February, winning 33-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lindenwold since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
