Volleyball Recap: Andrews Academy Takes a Loss

Andrews Academy lost against Victory Christian Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Andrews Academy came up short against Victory Christian Academy, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Victory Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Butcher, who had nine digs and two aces. Butcher has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played. Autumn Ballah also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Andrews Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Victory Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Andrews Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Community Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Goshen HomeSchool at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
