Basketball Game Preview: Bethany Christian Bruins vs. Westview Warriors

The Bethany Christian Bruins will face off against the Westview Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bethany Christian has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Westview will arrive with four straight victories.

Bethany Christian is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Central Noble on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bruins were beaten by the Cougars 48-15. The Bruins were down 39-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Ellie Morris was Bethany Christian's leading scorer, having posted six points. Morris also led the team in assists with two. Kendra Kern held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westview). They breezed past Goshen to the tune of 60-18 on Thursday.

Bethany Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Westview, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Bethany Christian might still be hurting after the 56-31 loss they got from Westview when the teams last played back in November of 2024.
