Football Recap: Kaiser Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kaiser dropped to 4-5 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They were dealt a 45-7 loss at the hands of the Rim of the World Fighting Scots. The Cats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Scots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

As for Rim of the World, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Scots, who have now won five games by 22 points or more so far this season.

Tatum Ortiz produced another solid performance rushing for 247 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Granger, who rushed for 40 yards and one score.

Looking ahead, Kaiser will look to defend their home field on Friday against La Puente at 7:00 p.m. Rim of the World does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
