It was a good run, but Calhoun Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to the Marvell Academy Eagles 56-52. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 48-20.

Calhoun Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-11. As for Marvell Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Calhoun Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-41 victory against Hebron Christian on the 4th. Marvell Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
