Basketball Recap: Ardmore Takes a Loss

Ardmore saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a blow against the Ider Hornets, falling 75-42. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 178th, while the Hornets are ranked 49th).

Ardmore now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Ider, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.

Ardmore will be playing at home against Athens Bible at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Ider, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Buckhorn at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
