Soccer Recap: Immaculata-La Salle Takes a Loss

Immaculata-La Salle's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Belen Jesuit Wolverines by a score of 3-2. It was the first time this season that the Royal Lions let down their fans at home.

Immaculata-La Salle suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 8-2-3. As for Belen Jesuit, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4-4.

Immaculata-La Salle will head out to square off against Cardinal Gibbons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belen Jesuit, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Westminster Christian at 6:30 p.m. Westminster Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.
