Basketball Game Preview: Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions vs. LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes

The Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock Lions will challenge the LaMoure/Litchville-Marion Loboes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock comes in on five and LaMoure/Litchville-Marion on seven.

Last Saturday, Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock took their matchup with ease, bagging a 60-31 victory over South Heart. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 28 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LaMoure/Litchville-Marion). They walked away with a 62-50 win over Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier on Thursday.

Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock was able to grind out a solid win over LaMoure/Litchville-Marion when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 43-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
