The Schurz Bulldogs will take on the Phoenix Military Firebirds at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Phoenix Military took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Schurz, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Schurz strolled past ITW David Speer Academy with points to spare, taking the game 24-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Military scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Rauner by a score of 28-26. That's two games in a row now that the Firebirds have lost by exactly two points.

This is the second loss in a row for Phoenix Military and nudges their season record down to 2-5. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only two points. As for Schurz, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
