Baseball Recap: Master's Academy's Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Master's Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-4 to the Merritt Island Mustangs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 21st.

Trey Seluk made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Cy Smith, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

With the loss, Master's Academy broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7. As for Merritt Island, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-6.

Master's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Merritt Island, they will challenge Satellite at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
