Soccer Recap: Scotia-Glenville Comes Up Short

Scotia-Glenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots. Scotia-Glenville were not able to make up for their defeat to Broadalbin-Perth from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Scotia-Glenville's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Broadalbin-Perth, their win bumped their record up to 3-6-2.

Looking ahead, Scotia-Glenville will challenge Gloversville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scotia-Glenville will be up against Gloversville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.13 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they are taking a road trip to square off against Guilderland at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Broadalbin-Perth will need to watch out since Guilderland have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
