Softball Recap: Scotia-Glenville Comes Up Short

Scotia-Glenville fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Lansingburgh on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1. The match marked the Tartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Keeley Kristel spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

Scotia-Glenville's loss dropped their record down to 15-6-1. As for Lansingburgh, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Scotia-Glenville nor Lansingburgh have any future games scheduled.
