Soccer Game Preview: Warren County vs. Brentsville District

Warren County is 0-9 against Brentsville District since May of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Warren County's victory against Skyline wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats never let the Hawks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Brentsville District's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against North Stafford by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Brentsville District.

Brentsville District now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Warren County, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4.

Warren County came up short against Brentsville District in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 5-3. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
