Softball Recap: East Stroudsburg South Has No Trouble Against Louis E. Dieruff

East Stroudsburg South's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Louis E. Dieruff Huskies a 15-0 shutout. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Cavaliers this season.

Olivia Robinson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Joslynn Yurescko was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

East Stroudsburg South was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

With the win, East Stroudsburg South broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Louis E. Dieruff, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Stroudsburg South will take on Pocono Mountain East at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Louis E.
