Basketball Recap: Banneker Trojans vs. Lovejoy Wildcats

Banneker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lovejoy Wildcats. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 37-31.

Lovejoy is undefeated when Barkley posts 15 or more points, but 7-15 otherwise. Banneker's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Lovejoy, they pushed their record up to 11-15 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
