Basketball Recap: Randle Piles Up the Points Against Benjamin Davis

Randle's tournament run continued when they took on Benjamin Davis on Saturday. The Randle Lions blew past the Benjamin Davis Falcons, posting a 53-25 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Randle was led to victory by Alaysia Cook and Kurynn McNeill. Cook almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds, while McNeill posted 16 points along with eight boards and three steals. That's the most boards Cook has posted since back in February of 2024. Madisyn Thompson was another key player, putting up two points and five steals.

Randle's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-12. As for Benjamin Davis, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Randle wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 50-39 victory against Magnolia on the 28th. As for Benjamin Davis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-15 win against Aldine on the 3rd.
