Softball Recap: Biloxi Takes a Loss

Biloxi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-2 to the Spanish Fort Toros.

Aubrey Hill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That double was her first of the season.

Even though they lost, Biloxi hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most two strikeouts in three consecutive games.

Biloxi's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Spanish Fort, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 21-5 record this season.

Biloxi will square off against D'Iberville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Spanish Fort has already played their next contest (against Bryant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
