Weldon was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against KIPP P on Wednesday. The Weldon Chargers breezed by the KIPP P Pride to the tune of 53-6. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 29 points or more this season.

Shaelyn Johnson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 25 points. Another player making a difference was Ezuri Reid, who posted 13 points.

Weldon is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points per game. As for KIPP P, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.
