Huntingtown and Calvert are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2016, but likely not for long. The Hurricanes will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Huntingtown is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They fell just short of McDonough by a score of 2-1 last Thursday. Huntingtown haven't had much luck with McDonough recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Calvert and Chopticon have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Cavaliers fell just short of the Braves by a score of 1-0.

Huntingtown couldn't quite get it done against Calvert in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Hurricanes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
