Football Recap: Chelsea Takes a Loss

Chelsea lost against Wyandotte back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dragons had to suffer through a 56-6 loss at the hands of the Bears. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Kason Threet, who rushed for 132 yards and four TDs on only eight carries for Wyandotte. That's the most rushing yards Threet has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Hunter White, who threw for 156 yards and one touchdown while completing 84.6% of his passes.

Chelsea's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wyandotte, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Chelsea will welcome Keys at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Dragons will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 32.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wyandotte, they will venture away from home to square off against Salina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 14.5 points per game this season, so the Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them.
