Basketball Game Preview: Boiling Springs Bulldogs vs. Wade Hampton Generals

Boiling Springs is 0-4 against Wade Hampton since December of 2014 but things could change on Monday. The Boiling Springs Bulldogs will face off against the Wade Hampton Generals at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Boiling Springs is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-33 heartbreaker at the hands of Eastside.

Meanwhile, Wade Hampton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were beaten by Riverside 100-8. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 194th, while the Warriors are ranked 17th).

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Wade Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Boiling Springs suffered a grim 65-42 defeat to Wade Hampton in their previous matchup back in January of 2016. Can Boiling Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
