It was a good run, but Franklin unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bishop Blanchet Bears by a score of 62-60. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Quakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-53 back in November of 2024.

Franklin's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3. As for Bishop Blanchet, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome Seattle Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Franklin knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Seattle Academy likes a good challenge. As for Bishop Blanchet, they will host Ingraham at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
