It was a good run, but Keller unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 76-45 loss at the hands of the Southlake Carroll Dragons. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dragons earlier this season, when they won 57-45.

Keller lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Shawn Harris, who posted four points and seven rebounds. Evan Guerra was another key player, putting up eight points.

Keller's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-12. As for Southlake Carroll, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-8.

Keller wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 54-44 loss against Byron Nelson on the 21st. Southlake Carroll has also already played their next match (against V.R. Eaton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
