Football Recap: Peach County Trojans vs. Monroe Golden Tornadoes
There's no place like home for Peach County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Monroe Golden Tornadoes by a score of 42-34 on Friday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Golden Tornadoes are ranked 217th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Ashton Barton, who rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.

Peach County pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
